My Approach

There are plenty of hipsters out there offering advice on how to become the next YouTube billionaire. And that’s awesome if you are under 30. My aim is to talk about digital marketing from the perspective of someone who’s lived a little.


My Story

Tony Sharples

I’f you were born in the 60’s 70’s or 80’s I’m here to explain how digital marketing works – without the tech-talk and rocket science.

I’m 58 years old and I’ve done everything from selling insurance to running a franchise pizza business.

But, for most of my career I’ve worked in marketing and communications globally with some of the world biggest brands. Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, IBM, GSK, Sony, BHP Billiton, Heineken, Fairfax, VW and many more. For the past 20 years I’ve worked with PepsiCo (think Pepsi, 7up, Gatorade, Quaker, Frito-Lay and many other brands) developing marketing and communications from Cairo to New Delhi to Shanghai to Sydney. And I’ve worked on global digital teams on social media, digital asset management, online training and digital signage systems.

I can combine the power of your Gen-EX experience with a knowledge of digital… to demystify how it works… and to help you work out your path to money and personal fulfilment in the digital age.
