What are you trying to sell me?
Nothing right now. I’m a big fan of Gary Vaynerchuk’s philosophy of “just give to the world and they will eventually find a way to give back to you”.
What's different about your approach?
Two things:
First, I’m taking the perspective of someone who is over 40 and isn’t a digital native – and probably feels a bit uncomfortable and confused about digital.
Second, my philosophy is get out there and learn by “doing it” rather than pontificating about the theory of digital. Once again, a million people are doing that out there already, so its no use just duplicating that well of knowledge. I’m going back to ground zero on FB, TW, LI and Insta so I can document and talk from the perspective of someone who did it from scratch rather than read a book about it.
