When you get started you can go it alone or you can find a bunch of people to help you when you hit a wall.
In my corporate life I’ve worked with lots of agencies and also freelancers. But, when you are starting out, that will probably be too expensive or complicated an option. A good solution to this would be a freelance site like Upwork or a more general site like Airtasker. There are also many localised variants in different countries – so use Google to chase one down. I’ve also used Nabesh in the Middle East.
The biggest issue you will face moving forward is hitting a brick wall – either on the technology front or the content front – which slows you down or makes you give up. Having an expert a phone call or email away will make a huge difference in maintaining the momentum of your site build – and also help steer you clear of time wasting activities.
